Fluxion Announces Opening of 2010 BioFlux Innovation Award

Applications now being accepted for a chance to win a free BioFlux system
 
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--  Fluxion Biosciences, a leading developer of microfluidic systems for functional cell analysis, today announced the launch of its 2010 BioFlux Innovation Award. This program allows scientists from all around the world to submit innovative research ideas using the BioFlux system for live cell imaging under controlled physiological flow conditions. The BioFlux enables a diverse range of applications in fields such as oncology, immunology, cardiovascular biology, microbiology, and stem cells.

Applications may be submitted from May 1 through July 31, 2010. Ten finalists will be selected and one winner will be awarded a free BioFlux 200 system. Applications will be judged on innovation, creativity, and utilization of the BioFlux technology. All individuals and groups who conduct original research and drug discovery are encouraged to apply.
