CytoFlux™ Imaging Flow Cytometer

The CytoFlux imaging cytometer combines the statistical power and throughput of flow cytometry with the information-rich imaging of high resolution microscopy.  The availability of individual cell images creates information-rich data on intracellular organization and cell morphology, thus enabling new applications that rely on intracellular imaging.

The CytoFlux imaging flow cytometer leverages the advantages of microfluidics and precise flow control. The CytoFlux system operates by precisely controlling the flow of a cellular suspension through a viewing region. The flow of the suspension is stopped many times per second to allow high resolution images to be captured. Imaging modalities can include brightfield, multiple fluorescent wavelengths, confocal, etc. The CytoFlux system is designed to mount to standard microscope stages.

   Tunable Exposure Times

Allows low intensity fluorescent signals longer integration times for high quality images.

   Self-Contained Disposable Fluidics

All fluidics are contained within a 96 well plate, eliminating the possibility of contamination or carryover.

   Precise Focus, Improved Resolution

System fluidics retain precise focus at the same Z height for all cells imaged.

   Broad Wavelength Capability

The CytoFlux system uses a simplified illumination system that imposes virtually no wavelength restrictions.
